Our Mission

Lockhart Glass Company exists to reduce glass waste, create local jobs, and build pathways into skilled manufacturing careers through recycling and education.

The Problem

In much of Texas, glass is not recycled. Transportation costs, lack of infrastructure, and limited processing facilities mean most glass ends up in landfills—even when residents want to recycle responsibly.

Our Solution

We create a local, closed-loop system:

  1. Collect glass locally

  2. Process and clean it into usable material

  3. Manufacture new glass products

  4. Train and employ people from the community

This approach reduces waste, lowers emissions, and builds long-term economic value.

Why Lockhart

Lockhart offers:

  • Proximity to Central Texas population centers

  • A strong culture of skilled labor

  • Opportunity for workforce development

  • Room to grow a scalable, regional solution
